Album Art is Dying

Album art is a dying art form. Back when vinyls and CDs were king, they gave musicians a canvas to shape their visual identity.

Some album art is synonomous with the band themselves. Think of the prism on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, the crosswalk on the Beatles’ Abbey road, and the naked swimming baby on Nirvana’s Nevermind.

But in this new era of music streaming. It seems like the album cover is almost an after thought.

With that being said, here’s a few of my favorite album covers.
