A Fulfilling Life

In a conversation with a friend today I made a bold statement, I’m confident that I’ll live a fulfilling life”. I said this with conviction because I truly don’t have any doubt.

But then it hit me like a truck.

I’m already living a fulfilling life.

I have an amazing family and a great group of friends. I’ve got a job I enjoy. I get to spend the rest of my time writing; an activity I love.

Yes, there’s still things I want and goals for me to achieve, but does that mean I won’t be fulfilled until then?

I think living a fulfilling life is not about what you have or what you accomplished but rather a perspective shift, that everything you wanted you had this entire time.
