A-side and B-side

In the music industry, A-side and B-side refer to the two sides of a vinyl record. The A-side is where the more popular, mainstream tracks are placed, while the B-side houses its riskier alternatives. However, some B-sides become hits, such as Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and The Beatles’ “I Am the Walrus”.

Leaving room for risk and experimentation is key.
