Between the Panels

From Scott McCloud’s Understanding ComicsFrom Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics

Comic book writers don’t illustrate every movement, detail, and thought of a character or scene. They leave gaps for the reader’s imagination to fill in, creating the magic that happens between the panels.
