Celebrity Endorsements

Last week, I ordered a Sprite to go along with my dinner and my friend joked that I’m drinking it because of LeBron James. It’s funny cause I had the same thought. I didn’t really drink Sprite until I saw LeBron’s commericals advertising the soda.

Reflecting on it, there are many brands that I started buying because of celebrity endorsements. I jokingly say that Kevin Hart put me on Popeyes after I listened to his interview on Joe Rogan. My favourite car right now is a Toyota Land Cruiser after I saw it in the James Bond Film, No Time to Die. I’m sure there are many other examples. It goes to show that celebrity endorsements work.
