Creator, Editor, Consumer

The creator, editor, and consumer experience art in different ways.

The creator is closest to the work and most critical. They watched their project progress from the beginning to completion, taking note of the areas in which they worked hard and areas that can be further enhanced. Despite their efforts, perfection can’t be attained but they true anyway.

The editor is close to the work but not nearly as close as the creator. The editor carefully reviews drafts, identifying areas that need improvement. Taking an in-depth look, they provide constructive feedback so the creator can reach their work’s full potential.

The consumer experiences the final product. They appreciate the creator’s work without needing to carefully analyze each section. The work resonates with them, perhaps not as the creator expected, but the art is up for interpretation.
