Default Yes to Default No
For most of the year, I’m either focused on work or writing. But the past three months have been my “offseason,” where I take it easy, explore, and switch to default yes and accept every invite.
This Summer, I made new friends, deepened connections with existing ones, and learned all about fashion. Overall, it was an incredible three months. But I dearly miss the focused time spent working on my bigger picture.
This weekend marked the start of October. I’ve got a few goals that I’m excited to work on. This means I’ll need to focus, this means I’ll need to switch from default yes to default no, this means I’ll need to be selective of what I say yes to.
Now that there are only three months left in the year, It’s back to the grind season and it’s time to end this year strong.
