Destination Literature
In preparation for my travels to South America tomorrow evening, I’ve been reading culturally significant books written by authors in the regions I’m visiting. It turns out there’s a term for this called Destination Literature.
I’ve recently started One Hundred Years of Solitude by the Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez, one of the most important works written by a hispanic author.
Next up, I’ll be reading Mark Adams popular travel memoir, Turn Right at Machu Picchu.
