Embracing the Suck

Recruiting for jobs is a huge pain in the ass. Jobs such as Product Management and Software Engineering have standard practices that aren’t representative of the day to day responsibilities of the role. It’s a game in itself. An emotionally draining and time consuming game.

But undeniably, it’s a game with real stakes and high rewards. Jobs like the aforementioned Product Management and Software Engineering salaries can literally lead to generational wealth.

It’s in these situations that it might be worth embracing the suck, even just temporarily.
