Finding Openings

In a football running play, the ball is handed to the running back who then finds openings in the opponent’s defence. Once they find one, they charge forward at full speed.

As I gain more professional experience and refine my product craft, I’ve identified gaps in my skill set and gaps in the business. My manager, skip manager, and I have strategized on how I can drive the business forward while growing in my craft. I see the opening and I’m charging forward.

Whether it be professional, creative, or personal, openings are everywhere. First, you have to develop the ability to recognize them. Then, you’ve got to run quickly and seize it.
