How to Freestyle Rap

Out of curiosity, I watched a video today on how to freestyle rap - something I always found scary but compelling. Here are the five steps outlined from that video:

1. Spit through your stumbles.
2. Freestyle immediately.
   
3. Freestyle a chorus.
   
4. Get someone to trade “bars” with. Practice.
5. Memorizing “rhyme schemes”.
