If You Know You Know

If you know you know is increasingly becoming one of my favourite phrases. It encapsulates the magical feeling of meeting a kindred for the first time.

Maybe they’re a product manager and they understand the stress and loneliness of the job.

Maybe they’re a writer and understand the creative struggle.

Maybe they’re a fellow One Piece fan that has also kept up with the show for more than a decade.

When I meet someone that knows, we click right away. Little to no small talk or conversational warm ups necessary.
