Inside Jokes are a Sign of a Healthy Community

Something I’ve noticed in both the Olive Tree Writing Club and Verci, the other creative community I’m part of, is the growing number of inside jokes among members.

This is a great sign of a healthy community—people have spent enough time together to build the kind of comfort where they can make jokes that only fellow members understand.
