Internet Friends

Before this year, I’ve never made a friend over the internet. I didn’t know how, and I didn’t know what I was missing out on either. To be frank, I would’ve thought the concept was weird then. How can I build a genuine relationship with someone if I’ve never met in person?

But this year, I met so many amazing people through the internet. The internet is a powerful tool for meeting people because nearly everyone is on it. You’re bound to find your crowd if you look hard enough.

Especially with no end in sight to the pandemic, making internet friends is the new normal.
