Keep in Touch

Whether it be an internship, a student club, or a relationship, everything has to come to an end.

The last thing I usually say is let’s keep in touch”. More often then not, this ends up just being a formality.

Truth be told, I’m not great at keeping in touch. And I’ve met very few people that are.

One of my friends is good at this. The other day he called me out of the blue. It’s been more than a year since we last talked. And we picked up right were we left off. He and I talked for almost an hour.

We worked together at a previous internship and we were tight then. When the internship was coming to an end, we knew that things wouldn’t be the same. But we both had that understanding that we can hit eachother up at anytime and it’d be cool.

I’m blessed to have met so many incredible people in my life, especially throughout my 5 years of university. Many of them I have that same relationship with. It’s really a beautiful thing.

That reminds me, I should hit up some old friends. And maybe you should too.
