Most Things I Enjoy Are Free

At the start of 2020, I took four months off to read and write. I had an amazing time and I spent very little money ($150/month was my expenditure). Whether it be reading, writing, learning a new skill, or hanging out with good company, most of these things are free.

The myth of consumerism is that we need to buy things to be happy. This experiment validated the fact that I don’t need to be making that much money to live my ideal lifestyle.
