Pants and Shoes
I was watching Frugal Aesthetic’s video on The Best Pants in Fashion and one of my main takeaways is the relationship between how your pants fit your shoes.
First, you want your pants to sit nicely on top of your shoes. For slim fit pants, I prefer either cropped or no break. For straight pair of pants, I’d go with no break or half break. And for wider pants, I’d go full break.
Then, you want the chunkiness of your shoe to match the cut of your pants. A chunky boot with slim pants makes your feet look huge. A slim profile sneaker with baggy pants makes your feet look tiny. For slimmer fits, go with a slim shoe. For wider fits, I’d go with a chunkier shoe.
