Parties vs Experiences

One of my friends who hosts events aims to create experiences rather than just throwing parties. When I asked him to explain, he compared parties to a scratch that heals quickly without leaving a mark.

Experiences are like deep cuts, permanently leaving scars and marks on you. The difference between a party and an experience is that an experience leaves a lasting impact, transforming you in some way.
