Pay it Forward

When we do someone a favor there’s the expectation that we will get paid back.

How about instead of pay it back, we ask the person to pay it forward instead?

I find that this is easy to do with kind gestures. It can be something as simple as a compliment to a friend, a colleague, or a stranger. Though it’s low effort, it can make someones day. Maybe they’ll pay it forward, maybe not. But either way we did our part in making the world a more positive place even for just a moment. And these moments of positivity are what we all need especially in these dark times.
