Relentless
Every once in a while I’ll read Tristan Walker’s story about how he got an internship at the hottest startup in silicon valley at the time, foursquare.
In short, he reached out 8 times to the founders with no response. Instead of giving up, he reached out to a few prospective clients asking if they’d be interested in advertising foursquare, a few of them agreed. He then reached back out to the founders saying “I have a few advertisers lined up for you,” and he got the job.
