Recently, I was in a situation where I was harshly judged by someone I know. I could’ve responded with anger, but I responded with empathy and understanding instead.

Experiences aren’t inherently good or bad it’s when we label them as such that they become one or the other.

We often do this subconsciously, yet, we become our most powerful when we learn to control our response.
