Strategy Doesn’t Matter If You Can’t Execute
In the past, I had a mastermind group with a few friends where we would share our goals and keep each other accountable every week. It was a practice we maintained for three years. One of my first mistakes - which I noticed in my friends as well - is creating an elaborate strategy but failing to execute it.
A strategy is irrelevant if you’re a mediocre executor. Work on execution skills first: Hone your discipline, do what you say you will, and learn time and energy management. Once you have execution down, strategy becomes a lever.
