The Album Club

Here’s an idea: an Album Club. The goal is to broaden your musical palette by deeply listening to culturally significant music albums and discuss them as a group. Think of the Rolling Stones Top 500 albums, or the Grammy award winning albums from the 1960s, or albums everyone has heard but hasn’t listened to end to end like Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited or Nas’ Illmatic.

I hear of plenty of book clubs and movie clubs, but I haven’t heard of an “album” club before. Yet, music is just as much of a cultural powerhouse as those other mediums.
