The Grass is Always Greener

Sometimes I envy the agency, opportunities, and flexibility of software engineers. But I know some software engineers would love the cross collaboration and influence inherent in a Product Manager role.

Sometimes I wish I chose an easier program, one that would enable more free time. But I know others would love to be in my position studying computer engineering and being surrounded by like-minded peers.

Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere other than home during quarantine. But I know others would love to live in a large quiet home in the suburbs while keeping costs low.

The grass will always look greener on the other side. But to someone on the other side, the grass looks greener right where you’re standing.
