To Dust You Shall Return

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return unto the ground, for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. - Genesis 3:19

Death is the great equalizer.

It doesn’t matter how famous you are, or how much money you have. No one can escape death.

I often remind myself of this fact as a way of staying grounded. Sometimes I’ll get stressed out over school, or I’ll accomplish something that strokes my ego.

But then I remind myself that I am dust, and to dust I shall return.
