A New Day

One day on Mercury is 1,408 Earth hours (58 Earth Days).

One day on Jupiter is 10 Earth Hours.

If I said I was writing a blog post everyday on Mercury, that wouldn’t really be impressive. If I said I was wriitng everyday on Jupiter, that would be slightly more impressive.

How would we measure time? How would we structure our days? How long would it take for me to complete my degree? If we were on another planet, or if we changed our concept of time?

Notes

[1] Here we are defining one day as the time it takes for a celestial body to complete one full rotation.
