Avatar The Last Airbender: Aang Opens the Love Chakra

The fourth chakra is located in the Heart. It deals with love and is blocked by grief.

Lay all your grief out in front of you.

You have indeed felt a great lost.

But love is a form of energy, and it swirls all around us.

The air nomads love for you has not left this world, it is still inside of your heart; and it is reborn in a form of new love.

Let the pain flow away.

This scene where Aang is learning how to open his chakras is among my favorite in the series.

This past year has been a tough one for me. During times of heartbreak, I find solace in revisiting this scene and the words of Guru Pathik. His message reminds me that love is a form of energy. When a person is no longer in your life, that love does not disappear, but rather manifests itself in new love.
