Complaining is Easy
Complaining is easy. In small doses it helps build camaraderie among your co-workers. And it’ll probably get you likes on Twitter.
But complaining over time leads to resentment. Resentment about your company, resentment about that person, resentment about your engineering program at Waterloo.
What’s not easy is doing something about the problem.
What’s not easy is giving honest feedback.
What’s not easy is choosing to be grateful instead.
