Jean Michel Basquiat’s piece, Equals Pi, was last seen more than two decades ago at a Sotheby’s auction purchased by a pair of Italian designers. Now, the piece reappeared in a Tiffany ad with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

The photo stirred some controversy as Basquiat was a notable anti-capitalist and ironically his piece is used as the centerpiece in this high profile advertisement. On the bright side, at least his work gains more exposure.
