First Time Compliments

Today I tried my hand at cooking Adobo, a traditional Filipino dish, for friendsgiving. I haven’t cooked for other people before and I was a bit nervous on how it would turn out. I made a few mistakes along the way but many of my friends complimented me on my dish. It meant a lot to me because I haven’t received compliments on my cooking before.

I find first time compliments always special. Especially if it’s a skill that I’ve traditionally not been great at.
