Four Seasons

Here in Toronto, we experience the four seasons to their fullest extent.

The winter months are cold, dark, and dreary. The summer days can be blistering hot but the summer months here are beautiful.

Recently, I’ve been saying that I’d love to move somewhere with nice weather all year around. Yet, I love that we can experience all four seasons here in Toronto.

If we had summer weather year round that wouldn’t be nice weather it would simply be the weather. The contrast between bad weather and good weather, between Winter and Summer, is the reason why we have this distinction in the first place.

Having good weather all the time is like being happy all the time. You can’t be happy unless you have bad days as well.
