Great Teachers Inspire
On the first day of International Religion class, in my junior year of high school, Mr. H shared with us the expression, “You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot force it to drink.” He said he could present the information and facts, but his goal was to make us thirsty to learn.
Teachers who are passionate about their subjects excite their students, sparking a desire to learn. When curiosity is stirred, that’s when true learning happens.
