Life is Made of Small Moments Like This

My daily life isn’t exactly exciting. I wake up, go to the gym, get my work done in the morning, have meetings in the afternoon, take a walk, and spend my evenings reading or writing. This has been my routine since moving to New York.

Every once in a while, I’ll throw a big event, have a fun night out, or experience something memorable—but those moments are rare.

Tonight, I spent the evening cleaning my room. I enjoyed vacuuming my my floor, wiping the dust off my desk and drawers, and organizing my closet. Life is made up of small moments like this.

I see people constantly chasing highs, but if you don’t learn to love your everyday life, that’s a recipe for unhappiness.
