Makeovers

Earlier this year, I bumped into a good friend from high school at the gym. I haven’t seen him since senior year and first thing he said to me was, You look exactly the same.” And he’s right, even after five years, there haven’t been much changes to my style or physical appearance.

Personally, I care about how I look. I think of my appearance, my style, as a blank canvas. How I look and how I dress is an expression of me. And when I look good I feel good.

My friends comment reminded me of how I’ve been risk averse when it comes to my appearance. To find my best look, I’m going to have to experiment; see what works and what doesn’t.

Maybe this year its time for a makeover. Starting with a new hairstyle.
