Pebbling

Sending memes, YouTube videos, and Reels to others is an act of care, it shows that you were thinking of them.

This is called pebbling, a reference to a species of penguins that gives small pebbles as a way to court a romantic partner.

Writing this post, I realize I don’t pebble enough. Pebbling is another way to show affection not only to close friends and partners but to family and coworkers too.
