Pump Up Music

I was working out with my friend and right before his last set of back squats, I saw him select the Attack on Titan theme song to prepare himself.

I typically don’t listen to music when I’m at the gym. Instead, I usually listen to podcasts or audiobooks. However, during my last set of back squats, my friend suggested that I play some pump up music to help motivate me.

Before my set, I chose the Drums of Liberation, the song that plays when Luffy enters Gear Five, and I had one of my strongest lifts yet. Now, whenever I’m on my last set, I play this song to get me fired up.

In movies and TV shows, the soundtrack musicians understand that music can influence our mood and emotions. And we can apply this same idea in our own lives.
