Small World

Last Saturday, I went to a community builders event and I was surprised to know many people there. It was a combination of people I met at writing club, people I met at other writing events, and other community builders that I know of but haven’t met. Many people heard about the OTWC too which was flattering. 

I remember when I first went to parties in NYC, we’d add each other on Instagram and check mutuals, and I’d be surprised if we had any. Now, it’s common for me to have many mutuals with people I meet in NYC. 

Perhaps this is a sign that my world in NYC is shrinking.
