Take Them Up on Their Offer

Recently, I went to a curated dinner with a few other Growth professionals.

We talked about all things Growth—our challenges, our wins, and the strategies we’ve found effective. We shared stories, tips, and insights, all centered around the work we do.

At the end of the dinner, one of the organizers ended the dinner with a prompt: What’s one thing you can offer to the group?

My offer was advice on growing a growth team from scratch and Growth strategies for B2B companies.

Other offered fundraising advice, tips on Growth tools, even restaurant recommendations.

Something I’m actively working on is not just asking for help, but also accepting it when it’s given. In the past, I hesitated, worried I’d be taking up too much of someone’s time. But I’ve come to realize that people like helping when given the opportunity.

And I do too.
