The Great Asshole Fallacy

Growing up I thought that you had to be a dick to be successful.

I’d watch Michael Jordan bully his teammates, Steve Jobs act like a jerk to his employees, and Gordon Ramsay insult his cooks. It worked for them and it’s entertaining to watch, but that one style of leadership out of many.

Personally, I’d rather lead by empathy rather than fear.
