Despite a country that once betrayed him George Takei loves America and its ideals. Eventually becoming a successful actor as Sulu in Star Trek, a politician, and a human rights activist.

This is a great book for anyone looking to understand more about this dark moment in American history. As well as the generational trauma, institutionalized racism, and humiliation suffered by Japanese Americans during WWII.
