Today is All That Matters

At the beginning of each Olive Tree Writing Club session, I set the mood by reminding everyone, “It doesn’t matter what you wrote in the past, it doesn’t matter what you write in the future, all that matters is what you write today.”

But this extends beyond writing.

It doesn’t matter what you did in the past.

It doesn’t matter what you do in the future.

All that matters is what you do today.
