Today’s a Future Memory

Many of my friends like to scroll through their camera rolls similar to how my parents like to view old photo albums. It’s nostalgic to go through old photos and relive the memories and emotions.

I feel the same when I read previous blog posts. I’ll read old blog post that I wrote in the first year of the pandemic, or the Summer I lived in Montreal, or my last semester at Waterloo, or when I was traveled South America, and when I first moved to New York. These feelings and sentiments I’ve immortalized through my writing. Reading them takes me a different time and place.

Who knows where I’ll be in the future.

But wherever I end up, today will be but a distant memory.
