Virtual Trash

There’s a lot of useless data out there. For example, I’ve got tons of junk in my Google Drive alone.

Sometimes I forget that this data isn’t just virtual but it exists physically in a data centre.

How much of our data centers are polluted with virtual trash? Is it necessary that we hold on this?
