What I Talk About When I Talk About Writing

The popular Astronomer and Science communicator, Neil Degrasse Tyson, was asked how he speaks so articulately about a wide variety of subjects. He replied that he writes a lot and because he writes a lot he’s thought about many of these topics deeply.

Nowadays, I feel the affects of my daily writing practice in everyday conversation. I’ll often talk about subjects or ideas I’ve written about on my blog. Writing is one of the best ways to explore your ideas and clarify your thoughts after all.
