Learning to See
Learning art is more than drawing a picture, writing a story, or taking a photograph.
Learning art is learning to see.
Writing everyday has changed how I view the world. It’s forced me to be more observant and curious. It’s helped me see the beauty and wisdom in even the most simplest things.
For example, recently I wrote a piece on keeping in touch with friends because I noticed I usually say “keep in touch” when saying goodbye to friends.
Writing everyday means I’m constantly looking for ideas, and when I learned to see, I realized that inspiration is all around me.
